DDzMultiU is a utility to uncompress multiple zip files in one operation. You can unzip files onto your local hard disk or onto an FTP site DzMultiU is donationware. You are not forced to pay to use the software, but, of course, every donation
is highly appreciated.
1.The zip directory window
It's where you select the directory containing the zip files you want to unpack.
2.The zip files window
This windows lists all the zip files found in the directory selected in the top left corner window.
It's where you select the files you want to unzip. Note that you can use the mouse to select more than 1 file.
Hit the SHIFT key while clicking on the left mouse button to select all the items between 2 items.
Hit the CTRL key while clicking on the left mouse button to select individual files.
3. The select ALL button
Use this button to select all the zip files listed in window #2.
4. The destination directory window
It's where you specify into which directory you want your files to be unzipped.
5. The 'Create a directory' button
Use this button to create a subdirectory in the current selected directory.
6. The 'Auto select directory' option
If you check this box, everytime you select a directory in the Zip directory window (#1) the same directory will be selected as the destination directory.
7.The report window
This window indicates the progress of the operation and lists any errors encountered.
8.The 'Show errors only' option
If you check this option, the report window will only list the only the errors encountered.
9.The 'Extract' button
Once all options have been specified, click on this button to unzip the selected file(s).
10.The 'Delete files' option
If you check this option, the selected zip files will be deleted once they have been unzipped.
Note that the files will be deleted even if the operation was unsuccessful, so use this option with caution.
11.The 'Refresh' button
Refreshes all lists in all windows (both in local and FTP modes).
12.The 'Connect to FTP button
Use this button to connect to the FTP site where you want your files to be extracted.
Note that you can maintain a list of FTP sites so you don't have to specify the information each time you use the FTP mode.
Once connected to an FTP site, DZMultiU is used in the same way as local mode.
